Alex, This is Jospeh. This is the details that I have forgotten to mention: When you conect a USB 2.0 device to a USB 1.1 port, the speed will get slower. It really depends on speed. I don't know (apparently I forgot) the speed of USB 1.1 port, but 2.0 ports generally transfer data at around 48 MegaBits (around 60 Megabyte per second, as defined by 1 byte equals 8 bits.).
