Well, where you would normally feel the window that covers the
infrared port, there's just a rectangular hole there, and it's
actually deep enough for you to get at least the tip of your
finger into it. I'm sure it's not a big deal or anything like
that, but because I'm not an expert on these types of things, I
would rather hear from someone that knows allot more about this
than I do. I mean, I don't know if this would cause problems for
the unit over time, and I would like to know if this will
eventually require me sending it in to have this issue addressed?
Oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see ha? At any
rate, I hope that I did an adequate job of describing what the
port would feel like without a window being there. Isaih

Out of curiosity, what does the infrared port feel like without a
window? I've never seen one without a window, and I think mine
has one, but I'm not sure. Can you describe it?

Subject: [Braillenote] regarding the infrared port
Good morning list! Not that this is a big deal, but I wanted to
know if the infrared port on my m power is suppose to have a
window over it? If so, mine does not, and I wanted to know if
this is something that I should be overly concerned about? I
noticed that on the classic there was a window, but as I stated,
I don't see that there is one covering the infrared port on the m
power. As always, I thank you for any input you care to offer.
