RE: [Braillenote] regarding the infrared port

Well, your right in that on a normal port it has a window 
covering it, but in my case, the infrared port doesn't have this 
covering, and all that is there is a rectangular hole.  I can 
actually get the very tip of my finger just inside the hole.  
Tech support told me that it shouldn't be like that at all, and 
subsequently advised me to send it in for repair.  So, come 
tomorrow, it's off to Humanware my new love goes.  Isaih
