Hi Amber, what you are experiencing is proper behaviour from the Duxbury Braille translator, since there is no greater-than symbol in US literary contracted Braille. Duxbury do have a mode which shows a greater-than symbol even though this isn't technically correct, because so many users requested it. We'll look at implementing this in a future release.
