Hi KC, if the 5 GB card you have is a microdrive, then I suspect the issue is that it is a five volt card which the BrailleNote mPower does not officially support. Earlier versions of the BrailleNote did support these cards, which is why you would probably not have had issues with it on a Classic. With the increased power requirements of the new processor, it's more difficult to support these older cards.
