Try opening the document in Word on your PC and save it as a Word 2000 document. The BN should open it then. If you have DBT Win on your PC, you should be able to open the Word document and translate it and save it as a .brf file. Be sure the document hasn't been open with the BN first. The BN doesn't create true Word documents but instead it creates rich text format documents. DBT Win doesn't like rich text format files. That's why you must first open any "Word" document created by the BN using Word on your PC before opening that same document in DBT Win.
