It depends on how the PDF document was created.  I can't really explain why, 
but some PDF documents can't be converted into text because they're created 
using images instead of real text.  That's why I dislike PDF.

Sometimes, documents which are converted into text will have some of the 
text out of order--another reason why I hate PDF.
