Get your battery below 80 percent and then you can begin the calibration.
You must have the adapter connected.

I'm a little confused about battery recalibration.
I thought the bn charged the battery first and then discharged it. But
Walter's note seemed to say that one can start the recalibration process
with the unit discharged??

Hi Barb,
My name is Walter Gramza.
I have an mpower with version keysoft 7.0. I received my unit on
February 6, 2006. I have had to re-calibrate my battery once thus far.
I was advised to re-calibrate the battery every two months. The way that
I did this is to let the Braillenote die completely that is to let the
battery run down until it is dead. Then I plugged in the charger and let
it recharge for about 8 hours say overnight thereafter all was well. I
think that isa better way than listening to the Braillenote talk for 12
hours or more until it re-charges.
