Sounds like the side snaps are not closed. they are hard to snap and when they are open the back of the case will fall away from the machine and it will fall out. This is what gives the case its shape around the machine. The snaps are at the back left and back right corners of the machine. Also, you should never have to open or remove the machine to charge it. There is a hole at the far left for the ac adapter to fit in through the case. If your case is on right, the plug and hole will line up correctly. These facts are true for the MPower and the clasic.
