If we take it out of the case do we just keep the case at home?
I am asking just in case I have to send it back to be fixed.
My bn is acting really strange or rather not doing anything at all. I am not getting any speech or braille display. I am plugging it in to see if it was the power. I don't think it is but just in case. I have tried various kinds of resets but no movement. I hope it is something easily fixed and doesn't need to be sent back.
I'll keep you posted.

when I sent my unit in, they told me to take it out of the case. it makes it easier for them to work on it.

I never liked the design of the case. Fortunately, I have an extra bag
case I can put the MP in. If you keep the BN inside the case and don't
take it out, the case should remain secure and tight for a long time.

But when I send it in, I'm going to take it out of its case. Once I sent
the BN classic in with its case on and it was sent back to me with the
case lying
on top of the BN. Whoever packed it was too lazy to put it back in the
case. So I had to wrestle it in myself.

I think the way that the BrailleNote might fall out of the case is if, the buttons are not securely fassten. And, yes, the BrailleNote should have a
tight fit when it it is still new, but you will "break-in" the case from
daily use. You will still have a limited number of itemse you are able to put into the pouch, bubt that is just the design of the pouch and the case in general. It isn't meant to hold much, other than the BrailleNote and a few storage/wireless cards. From personal experience, I find that having a
backup battery for the GPS reciever, a wireless card, and another
CompactFlash card, it gets quite tight in there and begins to be difficult
to close. But, again that is the design of the pouch and the case.
So, check the buttons, make sure they are securely fastened.

The case fits so tightly on the Mpower there's no way the Mpower can fall
out of the case unless it hasn't been properly installed in the case.
