When the MPower came out there was a lot of talk about the difference between the 2 adapters. There was no mention that this new one was just for those in foreign countries. To my understanding, all new and transplant units were to get the new adapter. I am not saying I am a trraveler, but we all should have been treated equal. Who knows when someone from the US may want to go to a foreign country. There is no reason that anyone should be singled out.
I am more frustrated about getting the wrong manual and tutorial. I am hoping it is just an error in labeling, but why would the error be on the cover page. I don't believe anyone got ripped off by receiving a one-piece charger. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Vicky Collins sSent: Monday, June 12, 2006 7:22 PM To: Braillenote List Subject: Re: [Braillenote] AC adapters/was International Travel With ABrailleNote Mpower Well, best I can tell from other messages on the list, I'm thinking that several folks, including myself, who purchased a new mPower and not a transplant, also got the one piece adapters. Although, I've not yet figured out just when the one piece or two piece adapter is given. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Powers, Terry (NIH/OD/DEAS) [E]" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, June 12, 2006 12:06 PM Subject: RE: [Braillenote] International Travel With A BrailleNote Mpower I hate to say this, but they are not being fair to the transplant people. We get the wrong hand book, the wrong cd and now the wrong adapter. Luckly I got the right version!
