Rose: Sounds like your WEP key problems are solved. But, in reading your notes, I found one other point of interest. I've always had trouble using the Linksys self generating keys. For those not familiar with the Linksys routers, they give you an option to type in a normal word like guidedog and then having the router generate the actual router WEP key. For whatever reason, this automatically generated key doesn't translate back well to the BrailleNote.
When using my Linksys RT54g routers, I always go to the space below the pass phrase option and type an all digital (all numbers) key. Basically, I just put together several sets of numbers that I know I can remember, like family birthdays, social security numbers, street address numbers or phone numbers. Basically, you want to create a key that no one else would be able to guess about you. . By using all digits, I avoid the Braille entry as well as the case sensitivity issues that are sometimes encountered. hth Jeff ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
