HI Don, thanks for hte info on changing the smtp port. It worked just fine.
Now for the other question concerning sending with out receiving, when I
select connect to send and receive email, it receives first, and then sends.
do i need to change something to prevent receiving?
thanks
phil

Hi,
The port assignment is in your account for directory of services.
If you have already set up your accound and accepted the default, you may
not see it unless you go in and edit the entry.
When you get to the port which is 25 by default, just type the new value
over it and then save the changes.
To send without receiving, just choose the "connect to send and receive
mail" in the keymail menu.

I know I have seen both of these items somewhere, but I must be having a

secondly, how do I send out mail without having to receive any?
I know it has to be ther somewhere, and I looked through the manual but
didn't find my answers.
Many thanks
