I do not mean the hard reset which is the record button but the other reset
button.

okay, penny. I have done the reset with my cf card. Sometimes my Mpower

if nothing else, I can dump the stuff using my computer to an SD card.

If this is an sd card are you using the adapter? Also try a reset.
