Hi Jim, well I guess it's a nice problem for me to have...when I joined
the company, we used to get told we weren't doing releases often enough
<smile>. If you have a BrailleNote Classic, then yes the playing of files
across a network is a bit jittery. This is a processor issue
unfortunately.

RE: [Braillenote] new version of keysoft

Yes, I did not see the info about 7.01 until after I sent my post. Since
7.02 is a major update maybe some of the new things will be enjoyable.
We'll
see. I mainly use keyword, planner and database all though the media
player
is nice it can't stream well play an mp3 across the local network very
well
has this been addressed?
I also use the gps a lot, but soon updates will have to be " the unit
works
fine with what I need." so the bn will at least for me reach the end of
its
line for now until I have another use for it as every few months the thing
will get as much as the darn car and inflated gas prices. *smile*.

Don't get me wrong, just voicing an opinion - not complaining the bn is a
great little unit and it does what I need it to do well and that works for
me.

Maybe some year my bn will be empowered.

Hello Jonathan and Jim,
Jonathan I think what he is asking is if the problems that
currently exist with the keysoft 7 will be fixed in 7.2 or not.
This has been answered since you said that keysoft 7.01 will be
out around the end of the week. This patch as you said, will fix
the downloading problems as well as the planner problems of
losing alarms when performing a hard reset.
Hope this helps Jim,
Robert
