Hi all!
I have a thought. What we really need, I think, is a way to cancel things that, from what I can determine, can't be. For example, say I want to open a file and hit the spacebar to get a list of files, say in bookreader. I have LOTS and LOTS of books, mainly from Bookshare, which I keep in zipped form on a large (2 gigabyte) sd card.
It takes a while for the bn to make that list.
Now suppose I'm sitting here, making this list and find I need to do something else with the bn, or need to go somewhere for a longer time, and want to shut the bn off. I wish there were a quick way to cancel the list command and do whatever I need to do with the bn. Normally, I can wait for my bn to make it's list, but sometimes not. Is there, in fact a way to cancel something like this while it's in the middle of an operation?

Thanks for the help.

Richard

Mary ellen,
I'll comment.
I have come from using a millennium and I think going from one
doc to
another is much easier and faster for me in the millennium.
Maybe I just don't know the right fast-track keystrokes on the
BN.
Best,
Penny
Don't get me wrong, I love the BN and since when does the
millennium
stream the internet.

Frank, all you would have to do is press a keystroke, there
wouldn't
have to be tabbing involved, it is far more time consuming to go
out
of a document and go back into it than saying y or n. Also to
switch
back and forth the space dots 1256 can easily be employed. I
still
can't believe in the 4 years I have had a Braille Note that
nobody
has ever commented one way or the other about this.
