OK we have proved the USB port on the printer works correctly, so unless you connected it to the desktop pc with the same USB cable you use with the Mpower, it could be a bad USB printer cable or a problem with the Mpower. If you used the same USB printer cable to connect it to the desktop pc that you use with the Mpower then the finger of guilt seems to be pointing squarely at the Mpower and it looks like a job for Andrew Riden and crew in Christchurch NZ. Yes I can see where this situation would make life rather difficult for you. Wish I had a quick fix for you but I'm rapidly running out of ideas. Take care.
