Sherry, I'm not Rhonda, but the mPower has to be upgraded with an SD card.
So while you can download it however you want, you won't be able to upgrade
without an SD card, and the SD card can't be any larger than 512 megs, if I
remember correctly.

Rhonda,
Well, I just read Jonathan's message to hold off, but for when we can
download the patch, I do not have an SD card as of yet. Can I simply
download directly to the mPower, as I would other things? Thanks.
And if I haven't noticed some of the problems do I need to download it? I
haven't tried downloading book share books, well, only one to try out the
unpacking process.
Sherry

Isaih, you can download straight to the mPower. Just make sure you are
using the Sd card. The zipped one goes faster, but you need to rename the
extension. I would download that first version on to a Sd card.

So, are you saying that I shouldn't attempt to download the file
directly to my voicenote? I have a pc, but it's in for repair at this
time. That being the case, I obviously can't download anything to it.
So if you don't mine, please reply and let me know if in fact I can
download ks 7.1 directly to my m power.
Thanks for your time. Isaih

Hi,
i downloaded the first link directly to my pc and copied to sd
card.
I just updated 3 mPowers that way using the same sd card.
I also updated a PK with the 7.1 files for the pk on compact
flash card
and that also worked great.

Hi list! I feel rather silly for not knowing the answer to this
question, but when I went to the site to download the ks 7.1
upgrade, I noticed that there were two different links that
referenced the aforementioned download for the m power units.
My
question is, which one of these links should I click on to download
ks 7.1 directly to my m power unit? There's one that just says
keysoft 7.1 for m power download, and then there's another one that
says the same thing except it has a .zip ext after it. Please help
me out here. I appreciate it! Isaih
