Mike, you simply plug in and go as the drive gets recognised as if it were a drive or Flash card. It will be indicated in the lsit (think it says hard drive or something like that) so that you know that is the drive you have connected as opposed to the Keysoft System Disk or the Flash Disk. Just get something recommended by the list and you'll be fine.
