Hi KC, I'm not Carol, but I do have the Western Digital drive and use it with my MPower all the time.
Those drives are fine and can be used with all sorts of devices including your pc and your MPower. For the pc or the MPower, all you need to do is to plug it into the usb port and you're ready to go. You don't have to install any special software or do any special configuration either. That's what is so nice about them. There are probably laptops or pda's out there which may require some sort of configuration, and the print instructions are for those special cases. Personally, I've never even read them. Just plug it in and go! Don On Thu, 06 Jul 2006 18:33:56 -0400, kathleen spear wrote: Hello Carol, KC here. I have a Western Digital Passport 80GB external hard-drive. The person who help me get it says the print instructions indicate you have to perform some specia. steps to disconnect the drive. Can you tell me if this is true? (I only used it once and just disconnected (unplugged the USB cable) when finished my tasks.) Thanks for your help in advance. ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
