Jacksonville Florida

Files with the .GIF extension are Graphics Interchange Format
files and are images, not to be confused with the .PDA format for
Portable Document Format.

I suppose you could feed your .GIF file to an OCR program like
Open Book or Kurzweil and it may be able to recognize it back
into text your pc can read.

Far as I know, the BrailleNote family of products cannot read
.GIF files.
