Hi all,

No, you cannot read these files. They are pictures. Tell your
employer in a nice way that you cannot read these files, and if he/she
wishes to give you information, the best way to do so is in txt or doc
files. The GIF may be just a signature at the bottom of the email,
what did your employer say about the file, Lisa? I mean, if it's a
signature, then there's no sense in revving yourself up about it. All
his emails will have this gif at the bottom of them. If it's a
picture of the new grandchild, or the new baby from Korea or the
graduation picture of her darling son Felix, then just smile and say
thank you for sending the pictures, how thoughtful of you... If, on
the other hand, it's important information, then you need to tell your
employer to send it in a different format.
