Make sure that your word documents do not have any pictures, tables, text fields, or columns. I have attached a document for you to try that should work. Not sure what's going on if it doesn't.

Subject: [Braillenote] Documents in Microsoft word.

As a new Braille Note User I've been busy and not quite as adventurous as I would like so I am transferring documents from a thumb drive back and forth from the computer to the braille note. I am using word 2003 and when I try to read a document it says that is not a proper doc file, not exact wording, but the file will not open. I've saved the word documents as RTF files and the braille display will not come up. How can I read my word documents? Thanks.
Jen
