Adrian;
The biggest feature I like on the BN products is that there are at least
2 ways to do almost anything possible. You can use menus or memorize
commands. Someone like me, with epelepsi, menus is the way to go. I
also love the recording feature on the m-power. I use it for recording
quick notes and brailling them or putting them on the computer later on.
The feature I use the most is the address book. I am trying to avoid
using jumbo print, since my sight is getting worse. I love my M-power
and I love my Braille style keyboard.
Good luck in your decision.

Thank you Humanware!

Well here goes
Braille Note
Easy to use
Powerful keysoft software with internet, media streaming, daisy play
very soon, and a whole bunch of easy to use but powerful applications
not expandable beyond Humanware's software
bad wireless networking security I've heard
built-in braille display if you get a braille note
Pac Mate
full windows-ce operating system with all the features of that system
expandable to all windows-ce applications including a special version of
Jaws for the Pac Mate
Detachable Braille Display optional
Not quite as easy to use It would be good to have some knowledge of Jaws
on a regular pc first
of course all the internet and streaming features. I imagine it streams
more varieties of audio beside windows media and supports more wireless
cards than the bn
Hope this helps some
David
