moving to Saipan I will probably go with an ISP that offers DSL.
Mainly because the wireless card drains the BN's battery. I have
never set up a DSL connection with the BN. Is there nything I should
know?

Yes, there are a couple of things you will need to know.

First, you will need a DSL modem. Although the DSL stream is carried
over your phone line, it is a separate stream from your regular phone,
hence the need for filters for your phones. (Don't worry about the
filters, you'll get them and be told how to install them, or they will
install them for you.)

Secondly, you will need to configure your "connections" menu as if you
were configuring a network connection, not a dial-up one. You only
use your internal modem if you want dial-up. This is because of the
speed between the DSL and the dial-up connection.
