I have to agree, I have an 18-cell, my original and I can read pretty fast
using it. My husband bought me a 32-cell and it too is great, it resides
mostly at work but it always comes home for the weekend and I use either
with equal ease and speed.

I am a one-handed reader, (left) and my thumb is always read to press the
advance key. I actually prefer the 18-cell for pleasure reading a book, or
traveling because it is lighter to carry and, if I am on a bus or in a car
it is easier to operate in a confined space using the 18-cell.

If I am connecting it to the computer, or at work where I use a lot of files
with long medical words, I prefer the 32-cell because words are not broken
up on two separate lines.

Hi Terry and List:
With my classic, I have an 18 cell display. It is equally as fast to use
an 18 cell as a 32. Your thumb is next to the thumb keys at all times, and
can be advanced very quickly. It really depends on preference. If you are
buying your own unit, a 32 cell is much more expensive.
