Hello Isaih,
I am wondering if you have replaced one of the cartriges if the
other one needs to be replaced as well. I know with my printer
you must have color and black and white in the printer at all
times, and if one goes they both need replacing.
secondly, have you tried replacing the usb cable maybe the one
you have is bad.
That is what I can think of for now.
Robert

Subject: RE: [Braillenote] please help; printer issue still
unresolved
Hello there Robert! Thanks for getting back to me and trying to
help resolve this issue I'm having. As it turns out, the printer
settings are as they should be, but I'm wondering if the ink
levels really may be the cause of my problems? When you
mentioned that, I remembered that I recently had to replace one
of the cartridges, and even when I go to print from my pc,
nothing is coming out on the paper. However, this still doesn't
explain why it is that other than telling me that the printer is
ready, the voicenote doesn't seem to recognize the printer.
After posting my last message about this issue, I contacted tech
support again, and they suggested that I might need to purchase a
USB to parallel adapter to see if that will resolve the problem.
I think the only reason that suggestion was made was because I
stated to tech support that I was able to use this same printer
just fine with the voicenote classic while being connected via
the parallel port, but for some reason, the same printer refuses
to work with the m power by way of the USB port. Oh well, I
guess I have a couple more things I can try. Please, feel free
to forward any additional suggestions that you may come up with
on to me. I would appreciate it. Isaih
