Hi Olusegun,
You'd better save all of those centimes because I'll bet you'll need them
to purchase many more BN upgrades before there's an open source aproach to
the BN.

I'm probably going to take lots of heat for these last two posts because I
will be said to be attacking HW's business aproach.
I bought a BN. I like my BN. When I'm without it, I feel like I'm missing a
vital part of my ability to function. But that doesn't mean I need to like
spending money on it.

Subject: Re: [Braillenote] BN Family and Software

Thanks Terri; I prefer an OPEN SOURCE approach. In this way, third party
software can be loaded and used. Suppose I find an accounting program that
is REASONABLE ACCESSIBLE for say, $169, why would I want to purchase one
from Humanware at $1200? I'm sure Windows Ce supports some third party
applications; I believe that if the BrailleNote adopts the OPEN SOURCE
approach, whatever software Windows Ce supports that is REASONABLY
ACCESSIBLE can be installed. Just my une centime!

Sincerely,
Olusegun
