Actually, you can press the overwrite command as many times as you want, and the BN will erase that many characters. Just make sure you write that many new characters. Not sure if there's a way to escape this process once you've started it.

Nicole

Karen;
I wonder why it was even created? All you have to do is hit the
backspace and type the change.
Sounds to me like it is useless if it only does one letter at a time,
especially when you can delete a word or more at a time.

Terry, there is indeed an overwrite command to replace one character at
a
time. You can't overwrite more than one character because you can't
press
overwrite twice like you could in the Old Blazie products.

I am almost sure there is not a replace command. You will have to
delete the text and then type in the new text.

Rhonda,
He wants to be able to put his cussor at the beginning of the
text and write thing over that having the old text disappear as
he writes. I know you can do this with the braillelite but I
don't think it works with the humanware products.

Jose, I'm not sure what you are asking here. You can delete
lines, words, or sentences. I'm not sure how you would be
overwriting, except to delete under cursor, delete line, or
sentence.
