Hi Kathleen:
I realize this question wasn't directed to me, and I apologize for interfering. If you want to read the manual from the book reader, from the Main Menu, you would press B. You would see "read book in which folder?" You would press Ctrl D to see "drive list". You would go to the Keysoft System Disk and select the Manual Folder. You would pick the section you wanted to read, and press Enter. If you are looking for something in that particular section, you would press Ctrl F, then F to go forward, or B, to go back. You asked about using the T or I. If you are accessing the manual from using Function with O, then T or I, you cannot use the "find" command, nor can it be done from the book reader. I hope this makes sense.

Richard R. and Katie F.:

Many thanks! You just provided me with a wonderful suggestion!
Would one of you feel imposed upon to write privately and tell
me the best way to access the Manual in Bookread; and, if you
use the regular "find" command? (My confusion is the "T" or I
part.)

Also, Richard: I have an M-Power Transplant and it does
hibernate when I'm reading a book. (Doesn't the hibernation
feature take some strain off your battery? I ask, because my
battery goes down very slowly. I read for 14-hours, without
charging, while convalencing, and there was still above 50%
left on my battery.
KC
