Hi Katie, I actually don't use the google translation tools, but one excellent translator is www.wordreference.com. It was one of the few very good online German-English dictionaries (though they removed that language about a year ago), so I would guess that the French one is also very good. I'm sure it would work with the Braille note. It's just filling in the edit boxes and hitting enter, and the site works well with JAWS because there's not lots of advertisements and outside links.
