I'm curious, but what is a bluetooth serial port, and how would one set one
up? Does that require the PC has a serial port as well as the mPower?
As always, thanks!
Katie

Hi Keith, I'm assuming in my post here that you are blind so accessibility
is important. If that's not the case, then I have some other suggestions.
Assuming that it is the case then, your best bet would be to use the
BrailleNote Visual Display feature in conjunction with Hyperterminal on a
PC. That PC can of course be a laptop. The BrailleNote can use Bluetooth
for the Visual Display feature, and if you set up a Bluetooth serial port
that Hyperterminal can use on the laptop, then you can be some distance
away from the student and still monitor what they are doing. Hope this
helps.

[Braillenote] Visual Display
Hello,
I need to gain visual access to what students are doing on a Braille
Note. What is the best way of doing this in a classroom setting?
Is it possible to use the Blue Tooth to communicate with an inexpensive
PDA laptop, or desk top computer? USB could work as well.
Thanks for your ideas,
Keith
