For what value it may be, Kathy, when I went through the wireless
setup process about a month ago with my brand new mPower, the things I
found most helpful were:

1. Read the chapter on Connectivity from the manual on your
BrailleNote.

2. If someone else is setting up your wireless router for you, you
will need to copy carefully the information required to set up your
configuration on the BrailleNote - SSID for sure, and the WEP key if
you choose security encryption.

3. Remember that the WEP key that you use, if you use WEP security,
is case sensitive, and so all the letters in the key have to be
entered on the BrailleNote in upper case. Check that key carefully
before you press enter on the BrailleNote because you can't see it
again when you review the configuration.

4. If you are installing your own wireless router, it is worthwhile
to read its manual if you can to learn about its features and how to
access it from your PC.

Sharonda, Thanks for the tip about setting up the router for use
with the BN. It's all Greek to me, so any and all tips are
welcome!
We just signed up but will probably not have the devices to
install for a week or so. In the meantime, though, I'll collect
any and all tips for reference.
Thanks again!
Kathy
