There are some people on this list who have greatly helped me. I'm sure they will help you as well.

Thanks, Graham. The more I hear, the less confident I feel about this whole wireless undertaking, but I'm sure it'll work out in the end. I have read that chapter, and will do again definitely, but as good as the BN manual is, I'm a better hands on learner. I do appreciate everyone's suggestions, and I'm saving them for future reference.
Thanks again, Graham.
Kathy

For what value it may be, Kathy, when I went through the wireless
setup process about a month ago with my brand new mPower, the
things I
found most helpful were:

1. Read the chapter on Connectivity from the manual on your
BrailleNote.

2. If someone else is setting up your wireless router for you,
you
will need to copy carefully the information required to set up
your
configuration on the BrailleNote - SSID for sure, and the WEP key
if
you choose security encryption.

3. Remember that the WEP key that you use, if you use WEP
security,
is case sensitive, and so all the letters in the key have to be
entered on the BrailleNote in upper case. Check that key
carefully
before you press enter on the BrailleNote because you can't see
it
again when you review the configuration.

4. If you are installing your own wireless router, it is
worthwhile
to read its manual if you can to learn about its features and how
to
access it from your PC.
