Dear list members, At this time, BraileNote does not support what isx called Remote Desktop (where users can log on to a computer) or Remote Access features. Basicaly, there are two alternatives: through seting up a network, and by using braille terminal. In case of the first option, you need a network card on your BrailleNote, a home or small office network, and one or more shared folders e.g. My Documents, Shared Documents, etc. In case of the second option, you'l need a screen reader, a serial cable or similar to conect to your PC (not USB), and software drivers to allow BrailleNote to act as a braille display.

What she could do is install remote access software, such as go to my PC, on the computer she wishes to access remotely. This would allow devices like the braillenote to connect to PC's remotely, as if you were at the machine yourself. Hope that helps.
