Your dealer might charge up your Mpower before they send it to you, but typically when received, they have little or no charge in the battery. Probably the best advice is to carefully open up the box and after locating the Mpower and its AC adapter, plug the unit in for a nice three or so hour charge then set the date, time, time zone and you're off to the races with your unit.
