Jonathan,
Here's just a thought that may help to bridge that gap a little: When you
announce a new version coming, could that same information go immediately to
the WEB site? In addition, when you post features of an update to a Mailing
List, followed by a tutorial, can those go straight up also? In addition -
and this may help to include our deaf-blind users further - could a synopsis
of that tutorial (often available before the version itself is released) be
put into text and up on the site? (Maybe even someone on the list would be
able to do it.)
Please accept this in the spirit in which it is sent. I well appreciate
that you may feel you can take no further action.

Hi KC, it is completely unrealistic to expect us to stop producing audio
material because Deaf Blind people can't access it. What it is realistic
to expect is that we will make the same information available by other
means that are accessible to Deaf Blind people, and this is already
happening. So I'm at a loss to understand what precisely the problem is.
We have no way of knowing when we ship a product that is all boxed up,
whether the customer receiving it is Deaf Blind or not. So if the audio
material isn't useful, it can be ignored. All the same information is in
the User Guide on board the unit.

RE: [Braillenote] Confusion about 7.2
Hi Jonathan,
I don't mean to be difficult. However, I'm on a several
Listserves with folks who are deaf-blind. More than a few are Bn
users. Perhapsyou should be aware there is a general sense of
dismay at the fact HW offers a tutorial on CD rom that is
audio only. I mention this, because you indicate here that you
are mindful of the needs of consumers who are deaf-blind.
