Hi KC,

I hope I understand your question. When you save an Email, you are making it
into a standard Keyword file. When you save it to a flash card, you will then
need to open the file in either Keyword or Keybook. I hope this makes sense,
but if it doesn't, I'll try again.

Yes, all CD's feel pretty much alike to those of us who can't see. If you used
a PC, you would be able to access text files, or MS word or other files for
that matter, from a data CD, also known as a CD ROM. ROM stands for read only
memory, meaning the data cannot be overwritten. However, without a PC, a deaf
person has no need at all for a CD.

BTW, I think he may have mentioned this before, but Jonathan has a substantial
hearing loss, so he really does understand the absolute necessity of having
information available in Braille, either on the BN itself, or in hardcopy, such
as the getting-started guide that ships with the BN.

Hi Sarah,

If you move/copy an e-Mail message by itself, is't it fairly
easy to fix it so you can read it on a CF card?

I realize the difference as far as useage goes. However, I
don't use CD's so wouldn't know one if I saw it.
(My grandson says that a Cd and CD- Rom are similar in
appearance.)
