Jonathan
No doubt, You will consider me stupid However, I don't know the
difference between a CD-Rom disk and a CD disk. IN fact, I
doubt many who are deaf-blind know either!

More to the point, why did the CD, which consumers received
inthe boxes with their M-Power Transplant or new M-Power, not
indicate "audio?"

Finally, can you truthfully say that using a CD-Rom Disk as
oppsed to the CD disk you are now using, would create a
financial hardship for HW? If not, I don't see the
justification for your reluctance to include both audio and
text.

Hi KC, the audio appears in two places. The first is on an audio
CD. This
is not a CD rom, but an audio CD, the kind that people put in any
standard
CD player such as a stereo or portable CD player. In that sense
because it
isn't a CD ROM, we can't put a text file on that. The second
place it
appears is in MP3 on the KeySoft CD, and the text does already
appear
there. It's also worth noting that not only do you get the text
of the
audio tutorial on the BrailleNote itself and on the KeySoft CD,
but you
get the text of the tutorial in hardcopy Braille with every
BrailleNote,
since the audio tutorial uses the text of Chapter One of the
Users Guide,
and this is what you get in hardcopy Braille. So what you are
asking for,
we've done ever since the BrailleNote has been out there. To
summarise
then, Deaf Blind customers can access the text of the getting
started
audio tutorial in three ways. 1, on the KeySoft CD Rom in various
formats
including Plain Text and PDF. 2, on board the unit in two ways,
through
the on-line help system and the Book Reader. And 3, in hardcopy
Braille.

sarah dear heart,

This is in reference to an audio tutorial which appears on the
CD-Rom in the package received by M-Power Trnaspant and
M-Power purchasers who are deaf-blind.

Yes, we want text, along with audio on that Cd-Rom.
