May I add that Humanware has active participation on the
BrailleNote list by some of the staff that develop the code for
their units and write the manuals as well as Jonathan Mosen,
their marketing manager.
Also, any time I have referred someone with a serious problem
with reaching tech support or getting their unit repaired to
senior management, I've always received a prompt and courteous
reply and the person has e-mailed me within 48 hours to say their
problem has been resolved.
Humanware isn't perfect, but they are pretty good and getting
better.
Try writing to senior management at one of the competitors about
a problem you are having with one of their units and see how fast
they respond.
Take care.
Brian
