Whether or not you have seen them, the only thing you can do is perhaps try to do this with someone who already has the cards as you don't want to buy if they can't be of any use to you. The CF card is quite robust though and hopefully you'll find a way to get it in and out. We have suggested many things on list, certainly to get cards out successfully, so don't give up at the moment on that one.
