Yes that is true that you are able to get the passport for about the same 
price. But, here is a time when it comes to the preference of the user, do 
you want portability, less power consuming, and more flexibility--go with 
the SD card. With the SD card, if you were to store solely books, you would 
be able to hold at least 4000 books, this is all depending on the size of 
the book , I am averaging at about one meg per book. Well, that is really 
great news, and for myself I would personally go with the SD card, I am 
waiting for something that is closer to 8 gb so I can put everything on it 
including all of the GPS files. Great news though.
