I can understand that many issues need to be considered when
approaching host hotels. However, I've been to many and have
the feeling the hotels may not even realize folks with
notetakers would have an access problem. FYI: I wasn't
directly my comments to ACB or CCB only. I've been to many
convetions/conferences over the past 25 years. I also have a
newphew who works for Marriot. He says their chain is usually
willing to provide assistance when they are aware of a
problem.
On a different note, it doesn't do any harm for the tech
support at these chains to be aware of, and learn about
assistive technology and access.
