KC and others,

I like Verizon wireless service but it does not have the device for my PK CF
card. It has only PCMCIA for the laptop. I did try it for a month. It will
rate me $80 per month for unlimited. I like it very much. It is very great
and wonderful one but I do not know how could my PK connects to the laptop.
I do not want to carry many devices with me.

Yes, I already have WiFi card for my PK. It works fine but I found it was
not worth to me. I think the wireless modem might be good one but I do not
know if I could access the internet and email in any where I go. I do not
know if it requires to have the router or what?

Subject: Re: [Braillenote] cellphones and wireless accounts

Hello Leslie,

Many of us have a wireless account, for a cellphone, with
different companies. Mine is with Verizon. I have a Nokia 6256,
and use Bluetooth. It is slower than the regular dial-up I use
at home.

What you need to know is that paying for a wireless account is
usually expensive. You also need to know that I can't use my
cellphone to make calls, because I can't use it with my TDD

You might consider cable or DSL before you pay for a cellphone
account.
