The particular wireless cards which work well on the BN MPower are not
manufactured specifically for the MPower.
These cards are probably being discontinued because, as far as I know, they
are an old model. They've been recommending the aironet stuff for years. It
doesn't surprise me that they'd discontinue last year's model, or the model
of several years ago. The unfortunate thing about adapted computer products
is that they are often built on a platform which is, before long, improved
upon, but the accessability technology community cannot afford to improve
and change as quickly as the mainstream does. So, our equipment was built to
work with these cards while the mainstream moves away, we are still using
the technology which is tried and true.

My suggestion is that you look for these items on ebay ETC. they won't be
gone, they just won't continue to be manufactured.

Thanks for the thoughts. Why are manufacturers planning to discontinue them
when there's loads of new and upcoming Braillenote MPower users? Are
Humanware deciding to build wi-fi right in to the product or something?
Anyway thanks for the thoughts. Slight correction: It's my college, which is
based in Herdeford, where I had the access centre, and it's them doing the
research.
