I tried that marking idea, but don't delete anything. It messes up all of the messages you marked. I think it takes the marks away or something. Don't delete. Just mark and you have to mark messages for moving to only one folder at a time. If you have to move another group to another folder, you will have to go through them all again for the second move.

I tried that last May but it still took me way too long to sort and my time is limited during the week. Unless my computer crashes, and the way things are going in my household lately, it may happen, I will stick to the computer where all the sorting, or at least 95% of it it is done automatically in just a couple of minutes. What I do is when I have downloaded my e-mail, I go through and mark specific e-mails and I move them to a folder such as Robert for personal e-mails and I have named other folders for the specific listservs I am on. So, when I get e-mail from those lists, I move them to that folder for reading at a later time. You may want to try this and see how it goes. I am not saying it is for you, but I find the keymail program much faster and easier then using my computer.
