I ran into a similar problem with a 1 Gig Sandisk cf card. One
thing that worked for me was to insert the non functional card in
a pcm-cia adapter sleeve and put it in the right side slot of my
VoiceNote. It worked fine there, even though it refused to work
in the rear cf slot of the same mPower VoiceNote. Give it a try
and let us know if it works for you too.

I would like to know how you tell what voltage a card is. Also,
I have had both cards since the classic. So, once again why
would one work on the mpower and one not since they both worked
on the classic? This sure is puzzeling.
