Hi Rachael:
I can understand why it wouldn't help KC. A chat room won't help
a deaf-blind person all that much, though it is a good feature
for many.
Warm Regards,
Rhonda Clark,
Illinois

Hi KC,
Don't discount the importance of a chat feature. Yes, it's a lot
of fun! But, it can also be very practical! If, for example, I
write to my son using email, I feel like I've hurled my words
deep into cyberspace, never to bee seen or heard by a human
again! If, on the other hand, I can catch him online, and start
chatting with him, he answers me! It's nice to just be able to
have a conversation, and you can save the transcript. I think the
ability to chat on the BN will be a very welcome and worthwhile
addition, and I look forward to it! When they get around to
putting it in, I'll badger and tease you till you try it. <grin
Happy Sunday,
Rachael

Hello Joseph,
First, I had no idea you were a High School student! What a
sharm student you are proving to be!
As you mentioned, the "Chat room" is in the works.
I would just love to see more practical features incorporated,
such as the ability for a person to use the KNFB Reader and get
text documentation without having to hear the prompts.
