Hi KC,

In the case of my son, it's definitely in text! I mean, if it were a chat, he'd
have to talk! Can't have that! LOL

Actually, you can do both, with the major messaging programs. HW may not use
MSN, but they will surely use either that, or AIM (America Online), or Yahoo.
All of these have text and voice chat capabilities. I would think that you will
love the feature when it comes out, sinnce it will allow you to have a
real-time conversation with anyone, anywhere. You absolutely don't need speech!

HTH,

Rachael

Hello Rachael,

Yes, I'm sure it is great to chat with your son.
I have a question. When you "Chat" online, is this a speech
thing or do you writte?
(Some friends tell me its speech, and if true, from a personal
perspective, I wouldn't be very enthusiastic.)

take care.
KC
