Thanks.  Okay, its probably in the manual but I don't have that handy.
How do I get to the braille translation options menu on a qwerty?

Also, I want to clarify if I am understanding correctly.  If I type a
document in the word processor using my default of ms word format, I
will have to do the first paragraph instructions below and save it as a
keyword file instead?  I think I understand that you can't emboss from a
document that is currently open because I would hit escape in order to
get the keyword menu to select emboss.  If this is not correct, please
explain.

I read the part of the manual that lets me assign embossing attributes
to a text document but it was a bit over-whelming when I initially read
it.
